Visually speaking I am as average and as ubiquitous as they come; average height, average weight and average features. No tats, no visual scars. Hats? Occasionally. Ties? Not if I can frickin’ help it. I hate those things. I like my All-Stars clean and my t-shirts soft and will have your band/company/slogan on them if I love you enough. I like soccer jerseys too but I have never played soccer. I cut my own hair, have been since the mid 90’s. My mom will cut it when she is around but she lives too far away for it to be a regular salon kind of a thing. If it were not for music I would be a very different person. I would probably be starting fires. And not the good kind either. I feel sorry for people who do not feel strongly about their music. Even pity. You care about what you put in your mouth, right? It should be the same with your ears. And I am not that guy in the neighborhood that still is blasting the music he listened too in high school because he hasn’t bought a new album since 1986. Hell no! I listen to the music the kids are making today, kids who I think that I would more than likely be like if I still were one. That unfortunately makes me “that old guy” at the concerts I go to but you know what? I am OK with that.
Once, I was overly sensitive but not so much anymore. I love things that make me say, “Oooh!”, and hate things that treat me like an idiot and things that are obvious bullshit. (Government officials, I am looking in your direction.) I love my wife and my dogs. I would be a basket case without either of them.
Here in no particular order are things that have helped defined me:

- Visiting Indonesia for two months (Thanks, Matt!)
- K. (Love you)
- The Hurley (A Good boy!)
- The Penny (A Good girl! Sometimes…)
